Nirmalya Nistaran Workshop — Religious Waste Management

Every year, temples, ghats, and homes generate huge amounts of religious waste — flowers, garlands, idols, incense, packaging, and more — much of which ends up polluting our rivers and harming aquatic life. This workshop shows that faith and cleanliness can go hand in hand. Participants will watch a short instructional video, go through two easy-to-follow modules covering the "why" and "how" of managing religious waste responsibly, and finish with a short quiz. On successful completion, participants receive a certificate from Kanpur Ploggers Foundation.

हर साल मंदिरों, घाटों और घरों से बहुत सारा धार्मिक कचरा निकलता है — फूल, माला, मूर्तियाँ, अगरबत्ती, पैकेजिंग आदि — और इसका बड़ा हिस्सा हमारी नदियों को प्रदूषित करता है और जलीय जीवन को नुकसान पहुँचाता है। यह कार्यशाला दिखाती है कि धार्मिक आस्था और स्वच्छता एक साथ चल सकती हैं। प्रतिभागी एक छोटा वीडियो देखेंगे, धार्मिक कचरे को जिम्मेदारी से प्रबंधित करने के “क्यों” और “कैसे” पर आधारित दो सरल मॉड्यूल पूरा करेंगे, और अंत में एक छोटी क्विज़ देंगे। कोर्स सफलतापूर्वक पूरा करने पर कानपुर प्लॉगर्स फाउंडेशन की ओर से प्रमाण पत्र (certificate) दिया जाएगा।
